The Columbia River Treaty (Treaty Between the United States and Canada Relating to Cooperative Development of the Water Resources of the Columbia River Basin) is a treaty between the U.S. and Canada that regulates water resources in the Columbia River Watershed. It includes provisions for hydropower, irrigation, and flood control.
